Piotr Beling received a MSc degree and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Łódź University of Technology in 2006 and 2016 respectively. His Ph.D. thesis was prepared under the supervision of Prof. Goldstein at the University of Łódź. It is about algorithms for decision making in games with and without perfect information.
He is employed at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of University of Łódź. He also works on computer modelling of photonic devices at the Department of Physics of Łódź University of Technology.
He is the author of the Bridge Calculator, a software for analysis in the card game of bridge. His research interests are also in combinatorial game theory and vehicle routing problem.
